Between Competa and Torrox just halfway up the road we've built this cosy villa of 95 m2
- big enough for two people to live here 'for good' and to have some family with you occasionally - with a huge terracotta sun terrace in front, partly covered by wooden beams to grow over climbing wines, Bogainvilleas or a Jazmin to give some shade.

The 'cortijo' (cottage) consists of two good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms (one full bath and one with shower), an open plan kitchen and an ample lounge/dining area with wide glass doors and windows all the way down to the floor which are opening and extending your living area onto the terraces and into the nature around. All the windows and outside doors are double glazed and made of pinewood designed aluminium air chamber profiles.
So in summertime when the sun is staying high you'll have the cottage opened to all sides just to let the light fresh air breeze go through. In wintertime the low staying sun will shine through these big windows into the house and will nicely warm it up. But as you know: Even in wintertime you'll have your doors and windows open most of the time with this pleasant moderate outside temperature (no frost at any time - guaranteed!).
All rooms are fitted with individual heater units; nevertheless - centrally situated in the lounge to give its warmth into all the other rooms around - we have installed an extremely efficient metal log burner with glass door already to see and feel the cosy flickering flames!
Horizontal damp proof course all around, air chamber insulations in the roofs as well as in the wall bricks, double glazed windows/doors are standard in all of our constructions. The inner doors are of solid natural pine wood in a nice rustic design.
The ~2.700 m2 plot allows nice views down into the green valley with vineyards, almond and olive trees. Look at the photos: You'll find our typical moorish style handmade rustic bricks supporting the edges of the roofs which gives to our cosy cortijos their unique character under the andalusian sun.
The access to the property is a totally concreted up to the main road (not even 1 meter of dirt track!). From both Competa and Torrox it's only seven minutes out and in just twelve minutes you can be down there at those marvellous sandy beaches of Torrox Costa. To the airport and Málaga you'll need not more than one hour.
